This workshop will focus on using different types of wet specimens that can be obtained from local butcher shops as alternative trainers. These solutions may be used not only for surgery, but also in Nursing, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Paediatrics.


Learning Outcomes:

  1. Identifying the needs for food-safe wet specimen for clinical simulation training
  2. Reviewing of some different interprofessional skills that can be utilised using this method
  3. Comparing the drawbacks and advantages to equivalent simulation solutions
