Part 1 – From Hospital to Home: Opportunities and Challenges Singapore’s model of healthcare delivery is now shifting from hospital care to home-based care to ease the heavy patient load within acute hospital setting. Suitable patients can now receive medical, nursing and rehabilitative care at home instead of staying in the hospital. The symposium starts with a short introduction on of the speakers and their professional experience by the chairperson. This is followed by an overview of the Hospital-to-Home (H2H) programme by the H2H doctor who will share on the aim and objectives of the programme, referral criteria as well as the different healthcare professionals in the H2H team. The AHPs (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and Dietitian) in the H2H team will then share on their respective roles, opportunities, and challenges that they encounter when providing care to patients in the home setting.Part 2 – AI Education in Radiography With artificial intelligence (AI) poised to significantly impact radiography practice, it is important for radiographers in Singapore to learn about AI to guide its successful adoption. To advance AI education in the radiography profession, the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and the Singapore Society of Radiographers (SSR) have jointly sought to understand radiographers’ perceptions and expectations of AI, and to identify AI learning needs and preferences amongst radiographers in Singapore. SIT has also been studying AI curricula within medical imaging and will be introducing AI curricula into its undergraduate diagnostic radiography programme. In this talk we will share this work and invite congress participants to shape the future of AI education in radiography with us. There will be a short Q&A session at the end of the symposium to allow the participants to clarify with the speakers on their respective sharing.
