Translational Research in Gastrointestinal Neoplasia SymposiumBridging the Clinical-translational Gap to Improve Health Outcomes in GI Neoplasia
Date: 22 Sep 2023, Friday | Time: 1405 - 1535 | Track Type: Symposium | Venue: L2-S3&S4, Academia
Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Group Singapore (GIORG-SG) is national research consortium focusing on colorectal, gastric and esophageal cancers. GIORG-SG is cross-disciplinary and brings together expertise across medical, scientific & technological disciplines relevant to the scientific understanding of GI cancers. Through our research, GIORG seeks to improve diagnostics, therapeutics and medical and public health interventions in GI cancers. New technology developed in genomic, meta-genomics, epigenetic, biomarkers, endoscopy and artificial Intelligence (AI) provide opportunities for collaborative translational-clinical research to improve population health and disease outcomes. Through this symposium we will share state-of-the-art data on how recent scientific progress has improved patient outcomes and discuss future research directions.
