Ms Fiona is an Assistant Director with the SingHealth Medical Technology Office (MTO). MTO is certified to ISO13485 and IEC62304 standards and supports the design and development of innovative medical technologies. Ms Fiona obtained B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, with a focus in medical imaging. Her professional experience is in enterprise software engineering including intelligent transport applications and computer vision. Fiona was a 2011 Singapore Stanford Biodesign Fellow and received training in medtech innovation. She consulted for A*STAR, Covidien (now Medtronic) and has supported innovation in SingHealth for over 10 years. She is a named co-inventor on 2 medical devices which have been commercialized and holds 5 granted patents. Ms Fiona also holds a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and was Co-/Curriculum Head for Singapore Biodesign from 2015 to 2021.
