Adj Assoc Prof Png is currently SingHealth Chief Nurse Shared Services- Nursing Practice Development, the Chief Nurse of Changi General Hospital and concurrently holding the role of Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) specializes in Geriatric Nursing. Ms Png has been with CGH since 1990. She is passionate about caring for the elderly with her sub-speciality on wound care. She was part of the pioneering team that set up gerontology services at CGH and facilitate CGH’s certification in NICHE (Nurses’ Improving Care for Health system Elders) program which is accredited by New York University College of Nursing with aim in creating awareness and basic knowledge in caring of the older adults in all disciplines. She is actively involved in nursing-led interventions to support and care for patients with dementia, fall, continence and pressure injury in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She also co-chaired the MOH Geriatric Nursing Framework which was launched in August 2022.
