Dear colleagues and friends,
It is with much excitement that we welcome you to the first-ever hybrid SingHealth Duke-NUS Education Conference taking place on the 16th and 17th September 2022!
The pandemic has irrevocably brought about much changes and challenges to the healthcare industry, including healthcare education. After two years of uncertainties and countless adaptations across the healthcare education continuum, the Education Conference returns in 2022 with the aim to reinvigorate hearts and minds in healthcare to strengthen teaching and learning in an endemic world for better patient outcomes. Thus, the conference is themed ‘Reinvigorating Healthcare Education: Connecting Hearts, Cultivating Minds’ with the intent to reconnect healthcare educators and learners, refocus our purpose and reignite our passion in healthcare education.
This year's Conference will be presented in a hybrid format and will feature multiple concurrent online interactive sessions together with a selection of face-to-face workshops. We believe that the blend of digital interface and virtual learning experiences with in-person networking opportunities will provide a refreshing conference experience that stimulates discussion and the exchange of ideas in healthcare education.
This landmark healthcare education event provides a great opportunity to gather like-minded individuals with a common purpose and passion in education to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals well, and to translate effective education methodologies into clinical practice and desired patient care outcomes. Delegates may look forward to a strong line-up of international and local speakers who will discuss on the latest topics in healthcare education such as education innovations, adaptations, fostering resilience and strengthening well-being in healthcare. Whether you are an educator or a learner, there is definitely something for you.
We invite you to be part of our conference by sharing your education stories, education research interests, and even personal experiences in teaching and learning. Submit your educational research outcomes or stories by the extended closing date of 20 May and register for the Conference by 12 Aug. In the spirit of sharing, we hope to encourage the cross-fertilisation of ideas in healthcare education to advance education and training for tomorrow’s healthcare needs.
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we look forward to welcoming you in September 2022 to Singapore!
