Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital Community Day 2023

SGH Department of Orthopaedic Surgery had organised an annual community outreach event targeting the elderly at the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital. The objective was to reach out and give back to the elderly community as well as to raise the level of health literacy particularly in understanding osteoporosis, its diagnosis, risk factors, treatment and prevention. Free health screening and consultations were provided by the doctors and other healthcare volunteers during the visit. The event was also graced by President Mdm Halimah Yacob.
