Translational Immunology Institute

The Translational Immunology Institute (TII) is a Joint Research Institute established under the auspices of SingHealth and Duke-NUS. We undertake translational clinical research in immunology over a range of focus areas of human health and disease. We use an agile and powerful technology workflow, brought together by an Immunomics Platform. We have recently been designated by FOCIS as a world-wide Centre of Excellence. FOCIS (Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies) is the leading world-wide organisation in Translational Immunology. This further affirms our mission to bridge the knowledge gap between basic scientists, clinical practitioners and industry, so that we can foster truly translational research with meaningful outcomes for society.

Our research spans projects that:

• Define health in immunological terms

• Understand Immune modulation in health and disease

• Identify disease mechanisms and

• Validate clinical biomarkers

Our team of researchers are experts in immunology, cell biology and molecular biology and are pursuing exciting translational immunology research projects utilising cutting edge technologies available in-house.
