SingHealth Gastrointestinal Pathology Workshop 2023

We are thrilled to share the resounding success of the SingHealth Gastrointestinal Pathology Course on 13-14 July 2023 at SGH Academia. The two-day course comprises of a series of lectures and workshop on the management and diagnostic challenges in gastrointestinal diseases. More than 70 local and international faculty, pathologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists and specialists in training attended the course. The two-day course concluded with an interactive grading and scoring of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) cases using various scoring systems by the participants.

We were privileged to have the following expert faculty shared insightful lectures and discussions on gastrointestinal diseases and IBD grading/scoring system.

Bioinformatics Course: Next Generation Sequencing

Pathology ACP concluded the fifth rendition of our popular Bioinformatics Course: Next Generation Sequencing on 13 and 14 April 2023. The course focused on the bioinformatics analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data, with emphasis on variant analysis. Apart from didactic lectures, participants were also provided with hands-on experience using open source tools on NGS data. Our appreciation extends to our dedicated faculty who have contributed to the success of all the Bioinformatics Courses organised by Pathology ACP since 2016.

SingHealth Immunopathology Workshop 2023

Pathology ACP organised its first inaugural SingHealth Immunopathology Workshop on 8 – 9 May 2023 at Academia, SGH. 

More than 100 local and overseas participants comprising practising pathologists, pathology fellows and residents, clinicians and healthcare professionals benefited from the informative lectures and workshop during the 2-day event.

The workshop included a poster presentation segment, allowing participants to showcase their research and ideas to fellow specialists, healthcare professionals and researchers.
