This workshop will review current methods for training and supporting ultrasound education. It will describe existing simulation phantoms and required features for training ultrasound skills, including virtual reality and haptic type feedback devices. The workshop will focus on the actual creation of task trainers to create foreign body, vein cannulation, and gynaecologic examinations.

Review existing ultrasound technologies and how they relate to clinical application
