Date: 06 Nov 2025, Thu | Time: 1000 - 1045 | Track Type: Workshops
Format: Face-to-face | Venue: Level 1, L1-S4, Academia

The workshop will address key competency challenges and how healthcare organizations can respond to overarching strategic drivers such as demographic shifts, shortages of skilled resources, digitalization of manual work processes, and increasing regulatory requirements.

These challenges will be addressed by presenting concepts that support competency tracking. Such approaches ensure that all healthcare professionals have the necessary skills and certifications to provide safe and effective care. The system can track training completion, skill assessments, and certifications, ensuring staff remain competent. Continuous training programs further facilitate ongoing education, keeping healthcare professionals updated on the latest best practices and protocols while reducing the risk of errors.

The workshop will also present examples of structures and approaches from Singapore, U.S. hospitals, and results from recently renewed innovation projects with German university hospitals.

In addition, there will be a presentation of an ongoing project with a Norwegian health region focused on tracking and managing simulation activities for critical scenarios such as cardiac arrest, “door-to-needle” time in stroke, and more.
