How Faculty Deliver IPE Simulation Activities

Synonym(s):

Date: 06 Nov 2025, Thu | Time: 1000 - 1130 | Track Type: Workshops
Format: Face-to-face | Venue: Level 2, L2-S3&S4, Academia
Speaker: Assoc Prof Kirsty Freeman and Mr Kai Kranz

Drawing on decades of international healthcare simulation experience, this workshop provides faculty with a structured yet practical approach to delivering effective interprofessional simulation. Using the simulation cycle framework as our foundation, we move beyond theoretical concepts to explore real-world strategies that work across different healthcare contexts and professional groups.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply the simulation cycle framework to systematically plan and deliver IPE simulation
  2. Implement evidence-based strategies for managing diverse professional groups at each phase
  3. Create inclusive learning environments that support interprofessional interaction
  4. Design phase-specific solutions for common IPE simulation challenges
