Dr Tay Wei Ling is a Consultant at the Emergency Department of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and holds concurrent appointment as Consultant in the Unit for Prehospital Emergency Care (UPEC) with the Ministry of Health. In her work with UPEC, she is involved in operations and policy matters including working on Alternative Care and Services Pathways in order to improve right siting of patients and preserve precious pre-hospital resources for truly critically ill patients. This ongoing project is a multi-agency effort requiring cooperation from prehospital, hospital, outpatient, primary care and community resources in order to fulfil our goals.
