KKH has a unique position as a center of excellence in Maternal and Child Health, especially as we celebrate our 100th year anniversary in 2024. In recent years, the Ministry of Health has been actively working to expand the roles of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) and specialty nurses. KKH sets precedents as a specialized women’s and children’s hospital. In alignment with Ministry of Health’s initiative, KKH Nursing Clinical Service (NCS) has been actively working to expand APNs and specialty nurses’ role. We have garnered a group of specialized nurses and APNs who utilize their expertise within specific clinical areas. This approach actively contributes to a focused healthcare model aimed at optimizing patient-related outcomes and experience measures (PROM & PREM). The principles of ‘value-driven care’ resonate with our healthcare model, which is propelled by advanced nursing competences and confident shared decision- making with patients and caregivers.
