Dr Fong is currently the Programme Director for the SingHealth Rheumatology Residency Programme and clinical core faculty of the SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency Programme. He strongly believes that medical professionalism, empathy and effective communication skills are essential skills that medical professionals should have and has embarked on various initiatives to promote this in the training programme of doctors-in-training.
