This workshop seeks to enable participants to learn about the PERMA model to achieve joy at work and how they can use QI methodology to put them in the driving seat to make their work more efficient or help them free-up more time. Participants will be required to bring in their problem statement to the workshop, and through a mix of lectures and experiential learning, participants can scope their problem better and develop their change solutions for implementation at the workplace.

Learning Outcome(s):

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Be aware of relevant frameworks and models for joy at work and improvement; 
  • Understand the key principles of an improvement mindset;  
  • Scope a problem, identify key root causes and develop change solutions; and 
  • Develop actionable items to achieve improvement or transformational outcomes at work. 

Target Audience:

All healthcare staff who plans to improve their current work in education, research or operations. Participants are expected to have basic knowledge of Quality Improvement and a ready Joy In Work problem statement for the workshop.
