Commercial Aspects of Drug Discovery AbstractThe seminar examines the commercial landscape of drug discovery, emphasizing the intersection of scientific innovation and market dynamics. The importance of early engagement with key stakeholders, market research, funding landscape, regulatory considerations and market access will be discussed. This seminar would be useful for IMCB students/staff who are interested in commercializing their research and wanted an introductory “crash course” on this topic.
Biography
Prior to joining IMCB, Zee completed his PhD from Harvard University and joined IQVIA as a management consultant for 2 years in Boston. In IQVIA, he has helped several biotech and pharma in their market intelligence, commercialization strategy and clinical planning. In IMCB, Zee works on business development and assist PIs to apply for commercialization focused funds and helped startups to do valuation analysis and licensing deals.
