As the newest U.S. government health research funding agency, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is working toward transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs to improve health outcomes for all.
Dr. Renee Wegrzyn, inaugural director of ARPA-H, was appointed to the role by US President Joseph Biden in 2022. She is the single point of approval for all funding proposals and reports directly to the Health and Human Services Secretary.
During the fireside chat, moderated by Prof Ng Huck Hui (Assistant Chief Executive, A*STAR), Dr. Renee Wegrzyn will share more on ARPA-H’s unique mission and model, its innovative programs and initiatives, and how it is seeking expertise and energy from around the world to solve some of the toughest human health challenges.
