This webinar will provide a brief overview of treatment and control of the leading NCDs in the ASEAN region, namely: Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and discuss how COVID-19 has impacted the management of those diseases. It will examine mitigation strategies and challenges faced on the treatment and control on NCDs by contextualising the discussion based on socio-economic determinants, needs of vulnerable populations and primary healthcare infrastructure.
