More health professions educators within the AMC are applying for the AMEI Education Grant, and so competition is stiffening for aspiring applicants. Another emerging area deserving attention is how some grant awardees struggle to complete their projects. This panel presentation aims to explore recommendations pertinent to the two above-mentioned concerns.

Past winners will share stories and strategies on how to succeed in getting the grant and complete the project. Grant reviewers will provide advice on the resources available and the common pitfalls applicants should avoid.

• Identify strategies that will optimise their chances of being awarded the AMEI Education Grant as well as completing the projects
• Avail themselves of resources to help them succeed in getting the grant
