What side effects can Trastuzumab cause?

During infusion

  • Development of itch, rashes, fever, chills and rigors, shortness of breath
    Please alert your nurse immediately if you experience any of the above symptoms.

Other possible side effects

  • Fatigue
  • Flu-like symptoms e.g. headache, weakness and fever

Inform your doctor if any of the following occurs:

  • Persistent or worsening of flu-like symptoms
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Swelling of hands or legs
  • Worsening or persistent cough
