2 March 2021 - Dr Ivy Lim, Consultant, Department of Sport & Exercise Medicine, CGH, spoke on the relationship and science behind exercise and the practice of medicine. She highlighted that physical activity can be useful in reducing the amount of medication needed for some medical conditions. Dr Lim also sharedthat using physical activity as a vital sign will allow doctors to have an understanding on the individual’s current health condition and allow the doctors to work with the patients to work on an exercise prescription.
