11 November 2016 – Changi General Hospital (CGH) and the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) today launched the SNEC Eye Clinic @ CGH to deliver a wider range of specialised eye care services at the doorsteps of residents in eastern Singapore, particularly for age-related eye conditions.
Residents living in eastern Singapore will benefit from a full range of services for eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal diseases and retina-related conditions such as diabetic retinopathy. Those with conditions affecting the eye can also tap on CGH’s multi-disciplinary care services. For example, patients with diabetic retinopathy can see a doctor for the condition at the SNEC Eye Clinic @ CGH, in addition to regular check-ups at CGH’s Diabetes Centre to ensure that their diabetes is well controlled.
