Profile

Dr Ang Wan Chen is a Consultant with the Department of Internal Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She obtained her medical degree from the National University of Malaysia in 2011 and completed her SingHealth Internal Medicine Junior Residency Programme, in 2019. Following this, she pursued advanced training with the Senior Residency Programme in Advanced Internal Medicine, National Healthcare Group (NHG), in 2022. She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016, earned her Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2017, and successfully completed the Specialty Certification Examination in Acute Medicine (UK) in 2020.

Dr Ang is passionate about medical education and is committed to mentoring and training the next generation of healthcare professionals. She has been serving as a Clinical Instructor at the Duke-NUS Medical School since 2023 and as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine since 2024.
