Profile

Dr Jason Chay graduated with MBBS (Singapore) in 1996. He received his training in transfusion medicine and haematology at Blood Services Group, Health Sciences Authority and the Department of Haemotology, Singapore General Hospital, from 2008-2013. 

He currently works as a Senior Consultant at both the Department of Haematology, Singapore General Hospital (hospital blood bank and transfusion services) and the Department of Pathology, Sengkang General Hospital (laboratory haematology, hospital blood bank and transfusion services), and he is the current chairperson of the SKH Hospital Blood Transfusion Committee. He is also a visiting consultant to Blood Services Group, Health Sciences Authority, as well as a clinical assistant professor with Duke-NUS Medical School. 

His clinical and research interests are in clinical transfusion medicine, electronic blood management technology, patient blood management, and immuno-haematology.
