Dr Neo Wei Li is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Sengkang General Hospital. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 2015 and went on to complete her residency with the SingHealth Residency Programme.
Throughout her residency, Dr Neo had the opportunity to take on various roles, including serving as the SingHealth Chief Resident from 2022 to 2023. She also represented her peers as a Resident Representative for the Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (2020-2021) and the Residents' Committee (2021-2022), where she was actively involved in the volunteerism committee.
Her jovial personality and commitment to providing evidence-based patient-centered care have been recognised with awards such as the Service Excellence Award (2022) and the Outstanding Resident Award (AY2023-24). Dr Neo has a particular interest in Otology, in particular, hearing restoration. She has been actively involved in initiatives including organising a webinar on hearing loss in the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Neo has contributed to the field through several publications and remains committed to advancing patient care and sharing knowledge in Otorhinolaryngology. She was awarded first prize for one of her presentations during the SOHNSS Residents’ research forum. She firmly believes that research and academic engagement are important for driving innovation and improving patient care.
