Dr Robin Low is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Medicine at Changi General Hospital. He is an Occupational Medicine specialist, and also Director of the Changi Aviation Medicine Centre.
Dr Low joined the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) after graduating from the National University of Sngapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and obtained his specialist qualifications in Aviation Medicine in 1997 and Occupational Medicine in 2002. He spent 20 years in the RSAF, where he held leadership appointments, including Commander of the SAF Medical Training Institute and Head of the RSAF Aeromedical Centre, and led an SAF Medical Team in East Timor as part of the SAF’s contribution to the United Nations Transitional Authority in East Timor (UNTAET). Dr Low also led the RSAF Medical Service as the Chief Air Force Medical Officer (CAMO) from 2008-2013 before his retirement from service. He joined ST Healthcare Pte Ltd from 2014 to 2021 as Medical Director of the Singapore Aeromedical Centre.
Dr Low has a special interest in the field of human factors and human error reduction, and believes in a hands-on approach to practicing both Aviation Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
