Profile

Dr John Tay is a Registrar at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS). He obtained his Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontology from the National University of Singapore in 2021 upon completion of a 3-year residency programme. He was also awarded the IADR Medal for achieving a distinction in the final MDS Examinations.

His research interests are in bone augmentation in implant dentistry, as well as minimally invasive techniques in the field of Periodontology, with several articles published in several internationally peer-reviewed journals. He also has a keen interest in how periodontal care and delivery can be better optimised in the public sector.
