Reputable medical education journals require manuscripts to possess strong conceptual frameworks. Many healthcare professionals (HCP) may not be familiar with conceptual frameworks. This introductory workshop aims to help HCP understand what are conceptual frameworks and why they are important to health professions education research. Participants will be shown a step-wise approach on how conceptual frameworks are developed.


Learning Outcome(s):

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what are conceptual frameworks and why they are important to education research
  • Describe how a conceptual framework could be developed
