Before You Register

Here are some important information to read and understand before registering for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Education Conference 2022 here. Kindly contact the Secretariat should you have further questions.

Important Information to Note

1. Please note that all Main Conference workshops are planned to be held face-to-face at Academia (located in SGH campus), unless otherwise stated. In the event that the COVID-19 restrictions do not allow for this to take place, the workshops will either be converted to a virtual session or will be cancelled. You will be asked to select another virtual Main Conference workshop(s), subjected to availability, in place of the cancelled session(s).
   
   
2. All Panel Presentations will be held virtually via livestream. You will not be able to attend any face-to-face workshops if “Virtual Only” Conference mode is selected.
   
   
3. The Pre-Conference workshops are chargeable at $100/workshop (excluding GST), in addition to the Main Conference fees. For delegates who are not registering for the Main Conference, please note that the Pre-Conference workshops are chargeable at $250/workshop (excluding GST).
   
   
4. Indicating your interest for the Main and Pre-Conference workshop(s) via this online form does NOT guarantee you a seat for the workshop. The Secretariat will inform you via email if your seat for the selected workshop(s) is confirmed. Kindly note that seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
   
   
5. All delegates will need to be fully vaccinated in order to attend the conference in-person. Delegates who test positive upon arrival in Singapore will have to bear all costs associated with COVID-19 related, testing and recovery.
   
   
6. Proof of vaccination will be required at the registration booth upon arrival on the event day.
   
   
7. Do note that full registration fees will be charged for any cancellation/replacement received after 23 Aug 2022.
   
   
8. In the event that refund is necessary, please note that the bank admin charges will be borne by the participant.
   
   
9. The Conference Secretariat will be in touch with you to confirm your registration. ​
   

About Funding for SingHealth staff

1. For SingHealth staff who wish to tap on the funding from the Harmonised Grant Call (Residency FD Fund, AMEI ACP FD Fund, Tan Yew Hock FD Fund & Pre-Employment Clinical Training Fund), please note that the application period opens from 11 May to 1 Jun 2022. Kindly contact your respective fund administration office for more information. Once your application is approved, the Secretariat will follow up with you on your interest for the Main Conference sessions (plenary lecture, workshop and panel presentation) and Pre-Conference workshops.
   
   
2. SingHealth staff who wish to tap on other sources of funding (such as Personal Training Fund, Department Fund, etc) should obtain approval from your respective HRs or department administrators before submitting your registration. You will be required to provide the necessary billing details in order to complete your registration.
   
   
3. For general enquiries on funding matters, please contact:
1. For SingHealth Residency Faculty & Medical PECT Faculty, please contact your respective ACPs.
   
2. For SingHealth Nursing PECT Faculty, please contact College of Clinical Nursing (CCN) at nursing@singhealthacademy.edu.sg.

Mode of Payment Available

Registrants are required to make full payment (in Singapore Dollars) inclusive of prevailing taxes. All prices indicated are subject to prevailing 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

1. Invoice: The Secretariat will contact you for verification and confirmation purposes. Please be reminded to seek approval from your HODs and HR before submitting your registration. Kindly have your billing details ready prior to registration.
   
   
2. iBanking or Telegraphic Transfer: The Secretariat will contact you on the payment details upon registration.
   
   
3. On-site registration: Cash (Singapore Dollars) and credit card payments (only VISA and MasterCard) will be accepted. The registration counters will be located at Academia, the official Education Conference 2022 venue.
   

Continuing Professional Education

For Singapore registered doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists only, professional points (application in progress) will be awarded for attending the main conference, pre-conference and post-conference workshops.
