Clinical Trials Coordinating Centre (CTCC) organises several training courses* to equip research professionals with the essential skills and knowledge for the conduct of clinical trials / research.

*The last GCP course organised by CTCC ended its run on 4 Oct 2023. Moving forward, the Office for Research Integrity and Compliance (RICE) for information on GCP courses.

2 Aug 2024 Clinical Trials Seminar: Fostering Collaborations in Clinical Trials to Improve Representative Enrolment

The Clinical Trials Seminar was held on 2 Aug 2024 in Academia at the SingHealth Outram Campus. It is organised by the Clinical Trials Coordinating Centre (CTCC). The three speakers are from Duke University School of Medicine – Prof Susanna Naggie, Prof Svanti Shah and Ms Denise Snyder.

The seminar's intent is to create awareness on clinical trials, and to promote research collaborations with Duke University.

The lunch-time hybrid event was attended by about 120 participants (onsite and virtual). Details of the speakers and programme can be found at this link here.




14 Oct 2023 Clinical Trials Seminar

The Clinical Trials Seminar was held on 14 Oct 2023 in Academia at the SingHealth Outram Campus. It is organised by the Clinical Trials Coordinating Centre (CTCC). The intent of the seminar is to create awareness on the diversity of clinical trials, and the National and SingHealth support for clinicians in clinical trials. Details of the programme can be found at this link HERE

The 5-hour event was attended by 60 participants. The seminar speaker lineup included:

  • Prof Lim Soon Thye, SingHealth Deputy Group CEO (Research & Education) who talked about the support from SingHealth Group Research, A/Prof Chow Wan Cheng, Group Director SingHealth Academic Medicine, and leading clinical trialists from SGH, NHCS, NCCS, SNEC/SERI. 

  • Patient advocate individuals, as well as those from the SingHealth Patient Advocate Network were also there to lend their support and engaged clinicians on better communications and coordination for trial participants.





The audience also enjoyed the panel discussion on various topics on how to attract more clinicians, to improve clinical trials, and patient perspectives on clinical trials.
