Our Core Business

SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) is a dedicated early phase clinical research unit, which supports the research of commercial partners and independent investigators.

Its projects are supported by a team of dedicated staff comprising clinical research coordinators, clinical research nurses, trained in Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP). Located within Singapore General Hospital, SingHealth IMU specialises in diseases that impact patients in Asia, including oncology, haematology, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease and endocrinology.

• Specimen collection, handling and processing
• Coordination with external central laboratories
• Project management of trials
• Preparation for external audit and inspection
• Conduct of trials adhering to ICH-GCP and SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) guidelines
