SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) is a dedicated early phase clinical research unit, which supports the research of commercial partners and independent investigators. SingHealth IMU provides services to facilitate:
• Proof of concept, first-in-man or early stage of clinical development of investigational drugs, vaccines and devices
• Identification and validation of novel disease biomarkers
• Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics studies
• Healthy volunteer trials, supported by a robust database
SingHealth IMU is located at the heart of Singapore's largest medical campus. Tapping into the high patient volume and wide range of medical expertise on the campus, we are able to conduct clinical trials across the medical spectrum. Part of an academic campus, SingHealth IMU also promotes medical research practice and methodology to train doctors, pharmacists, nurses and coordinators in clinical trial management.
