MTO offers short training courses in hospital-based innovation. Past participants include staff from Family Medicine Academic Clinical Program (ACP), the Allied Health departments, National Heart Centre Singapore, and project partners from IPTEC Pte Ltd, ST Kinetics, and NTU. Past training topics include:•Design-driven medtech innovation•Unmet clinical needs finding and commercial validation•Medtech regulatory and reimbursement basics•Creating a medtech business plan
MTO co-organises and co-conducts workshops for the Singapore-Stanford Biodesign program and Singapore Biodesign program hosted by A*STAR. Until 2018, MTO also co-organised and co-conducted the graduate level Biodesign Innovation Class offered at NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and Duke-NUS.
