SPECTRA

About SPECTRA – A Genome/Phenome Encyclopaedia for Asian Patient Normality

A broad-scale genome-phenotype database seeking to determine the range of Asian normality through detailed phenotyping, including imaging information, metabolomics, activity monitoring and whole genome sequencing of 5,000 healthy Singaporeans. This extensive dataset can also be used as a set of super-controls for future studies comparing disease patients to healthy individuals. Furthermore, this cohort will be followed up over time, providing the opportunity to track eventual disease inflection curve to determine baseline risks, early events and pre-clinical stages of a range of diseases.
