Mr Dennis Ong
Senior Education Associate, Technology Enhanced Learning and Innovation, Duke-NUS Medical School
Dennis joined Duke-NUS in April 2022 as a Senior Education Associate (3D Printing). He has been working with 3D printers for more than 10 years, building his first 3D Printer, a RepRap Prusa Mendel, back in 2011. Since then, he has worked with various types of 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, SLS and Polyjet.
Dennis is also experienced in product design and engineering, with a focus on sensors and actuators integration. He has designed products ranging from analytic instruments to medical devices. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with electronics and exploring new technologies. He has a B.Eng and M.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from NUS.
