Assoc Prof Winston Lim studied locally at the National University of Singapore, graduating in 1985. After obtaining his fellowship in Radiology he went on to sub-specialise in Neuroradiology and Neurointervention in Oxford UK in 1996, returning to establish the Neurointerventional service at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
He is currently employed at the SGH, having been there since he qualified as a radiologist and is the current Deputy Head (Academic). He is also an Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore and was the immediate past Programme Director for the SingHealth Diagnostic Radiology Residency Programme. Since stepping down as the programme director in June 2021, he has taken on the role of Director of the Post Graduate Medical Institute, SGH.
