Dr Mara McAdams

Dr Mara McAdams studied History of Art as an undergraduate, while completing the requirements for medical school. She chose to train in Internal Medicine – Primary Care at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, developing her clinical acumen alongside knowledge and skills in medical education. After receiving her board certification in Internal Medicine, she moved to Singapore. She joined Duke-NUS, a graduate medical school collaboration between Duke University and National University of Singapore, as a founding member of the teaching faculty when it was launched in 2007. Now she oversees the outreach and engagement efforts with the student alumni body in Duke-NUS Medical School.
