Dr Ng Sue Ying Adaline

Lecturer, Clinical Psychology, School of Social and Health Sciences,
James Cook University, Singapore

 

Adaline is a registered clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of psychology. She is currently a lecturer in Clinical Psychology at James Cook University (JCU), where she lectures on postgraduate clinical psychology courses, and provides clinical supervision to clinical psychologists-in-training, as well as research supervision. She also works with adults who require psychological interventions in the private sector.

Prior to joining JCU, Adaline was the Senior Assistant Director of Psychological Services in Singapore Prison Service, where she was responsible for assessment and intervention services for both prison staff and offenders. She managed and supervised a team of psychologists, and provided professional advice on the assessment, management, and treatment of psychological and behavioural problems.

Adaline’s research interests include addictions, criminal behaviours, and personality disorders.
