An emergency physician with an interest in Simulation-based education, I completed a fellowship with the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston, USA, in 2013. Since then, together with my capable and passionate colleagues, Dr Goh, Dr Gan and Dr Thng, we have been conducting both lab-based and in-situ simulation education for our department as well as faculty development for our institution and across institutions.
We also have a special interest in team-based inter-professional education, and have been facilitating debriefings post simulation and believe in the importance of moving debriefing from the simulation lab to the clinical environment. In this workshop we share our journey in debriefing and how it can be translated to be used in the clinical space.
