Dr Fogel is a Research Scientist at Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS; A*STAR) and holds an adjunct appointment with The Centre for Holistic Initiatives in Learning and Development (CHILD). Dr Fogel’s background is in Developmental Psychology, with specific interest in behaviours that facilitate development of obesity in the first years of life, including sedentary behaviours, screen time, physical activity and eating behaviours. Dr Fogel is also interested in the environmental context of children’s behaviours, including the role of caregivers as models and teachers of behaviours and the impact of the wider environment on health and development.
