Dr Deanna Lee Wai Ching is a Senior Consultant at Sengkang General Hospital. Dr Lee's clinical interests span acute medicine, weight management, and metabolic medicine. She is actively involved in training and medical education. She is the undergraduate director of General Medicine, SKH EDO, AMEI- CCED and a Med ACP committee member. She is presently the convenor of CPX2 Year 2 Duke-NUS exam. With a Master of Medical Education (MHPE Maastricht), Dr Lee contributes significantly to medical literature and spearheads initiatives in undergraduate medical education and faculty development. Her special focus on metabolic medicine and obesity - further cultivated through a fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Charles Perkins Center in Sydney - underscores her dedication to mitigating Singapore's escalating metabolic burden. She is actively involved in the Singapore Association for the Study of Obesity (SASO), contributing to policy development, community awareness initiatives, and holistic obesity care in the country.
