Asst Prof Ignasius Jappar is a Cardiology Consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore, specialising in non-invasive cardiac imaging with a focus on echocardiography. His expertise lies in imaging for structural heart conditions and guiding transcatheter structural heart interventions.

 

In addition to his clinical work, Asst Prof Ignasius is actively involved in medical education. He serves as a course co-director for the pre-clinical medical education program at Duke-NUS Medical School. He also participates as faculty in the Duke-NUS Project DOVE, which conducts overseas medical missions. Beyond undergraduate education, Asst Prof Ignasius is engaged in the graduate training of specialists in the SingHealth Residency Program and leads the interprofessional education programme as the Director of Education for the Allied Health and Nursing Programme at NHCS.
