Assoc Prof Ong completed her Clinical Doctorate training (Cardiopulmonary Specialty) from University of Melbourne in 2010, and Master of Health Professions Education with Maastricht University in 2017. Besides working as a physiotherapist specialising in respiratory care, Assoc Prof Ong has been actively engaged in undergraduate and post-professional physiotherapy education. She is an Associate Professor with Singapore Institute of Technology, and currently serves as Deputy Co-lead, Centre for InterProfessional Healthcare Education (CIPHE).
