Ms Teo Shao Chu

Shao Chu leads the Quality Improvement (QI) unit in Institute for Patient Safety
and Quality (IPSQ), SingHealth.

She is a JCI Certified Master Change Management Facilitator, JCI Certified Improvement Coach & IPSQ-appointed Faculty and Facilitator for AM-EPIC HealthcareQI and AgileQITM progammes, Change Management Faculty, TeamSCALE (Team SingHealth Collaborative Action for Large-scale Efforts Approach to facilitating impactful change and improvement) Facilitator, and has also been appointed by ESTHER Network Singapore as an ESTHER Coach Trainer where she conducts QI training to aspiring ESTHER Coaches from SingHealth and community partners to drive person-centred care improvement, and facilitates their projects.

Together with her team, she drives and supports National- and Cluster-level improvement initiatives, value-driven care improvement efforts, conducts quality improvement (QI) trainings, coaches QI project teams across the cluster, as well as plan and execute various initiatives to build a sustainable QI culture in SingHealth.

For global efforts, she leads the planning and facilitation of QI and Change Management workshops for WHO GALLOPS programme, and has trained more than 200 Patient Safety and Quality Leaders across various countries.
