A/Prof Fong is currently the Programme Director for the SingHealth Rheumatology Residency Programme, Director of Faculty Development in Medicine ACP, and executive committee member for Medical Humanities in Medicine ACP. He strongly believes that medical professionalism, empathy, and effective communication skills are essential skills that medical professionals should have, and has embarked on various initiatives to promote this through the medical humanities.
