William, a Patient Safety & Quality Specialist, is driven by a strong commitment to healthcare improvement. Leveraging on his certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile SCRUM master, he has implemented initiatives and methodologies to enhance healthcare practices.

He is an appointed Institute for Patient Safety & Quality (IPSQ) Faculty and Facilitator for AM-EPIC HealthcareQI and AgileQITM progammes, and is an ESTHER Coach Faculty with ESTHER Network Singapore, training aspiring ESTHER Coaches on quality improvement for person-centered care projects.

His teams, which have employed AgileQITM methodology, have achieved notable recognition, including the You Shine Award and the SKH Best Project Award. One of his teams was shortlisted for the National Healthcare Innovation Project Award 2024 and another is under consideration to present at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare 2024. His efforts have also led to the establishment of a Community of Practice (COP) at SingHealth for one of the nursing improvement projects, where AgileQITM methodology was employed in promoting clinical best practices and patient-centered solutions.
