The focus of Residency Education is on establishing SingHealth Orthopaedics, Plastics and Hand Surgery Residency Programmes as the Programme of Choice for surgical trainees interested in these musculoskeletal disciplines. Our Residency Programmes will aim to attract and nurture top medical talent.
The MSKSC ACP Education Office will work closely with GME Office and other relevant stakeholders to continuously strengthen and redefine rigorous Programme curriculums and standards. Common areas of interests for synergies to integrate education and develop structured, coordinated teaching platforms will also be identified.
The residents in our programmes will experience a curriculum that emphasizes all core areas of medical education, which are patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism and system-based practice.
