AMAC 2025 Programme

AMAC 2025 will bring together our AM Community and leaders across SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC to examine and reflect on the latest developments and challenges in academic health systems as they engage with internationally renowned academic clinicians to shape the way forward and emerge stronger as an AMC. This three-day hybrid event will also see the return of the highly successful Academic Hour with AMAC which will feature two plenary lectures by prominent world-class thought leaders, centred on the current hot topics in academic medicine.

There are changes to the date and time for Academic Hour with AMAC. For AMAC Dialogues, there will be two sessions for each theme. Please refer to the AMAC 2025 programme (updated as of 7 April 2025) below. Affected registered participants will be informed seperately by email. 

Day 1 (15 April 2025):

(Onsite attendance is strongly encouraged)

Convergence Science and Regional Health Systems

This session explores the two concepts of Precision Health and Convergence Science which intersect in today’s Healthcare. Both encapsulates transdisciplinary, multidimensional domains of science ranging from behaviourial to social science to innovation and omics. In our dialogue with the AMAC, we will focus on 3 aspects that are important in advancing the Convergence Science agenda – Education; Innovation; and Global Health.
