Associate Professor Subha Ramani is an internationally recognised leader in medical education, known for her expertise in faculty development, qualitative research, and educational scholarship. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member at Brigham and Women's Hospital, she has been instrumental in advancing clinical education, scholarship among early career educators and mentoring future healthcare leaders.
In her past role as President of AMEE, Associate Professor Ramani championed global collaboration, gaining multicultural perspectives in medical education, and the continuous improvement of teaching practices. Her research focuses on feedback in clinical education, application of educational theory to practice, mentorship, emotional and cultural intelligence, and the development of professional identity among healthcare providers.
A passionate educator and thought leader, Associate Professor Ramani is committed to fostering inclusive, learner-centred environments that empower educators and trainees to thrive in complex healthcare settings.
